In their letter, the retired judges pressed on the escalating attempts by “certain factions to undermine the judiciary through calculated pressure”.
Chief Justice Chandrachud remarked, “If the case is heard again after that long, the oral arguments made in the previous hearing do not matter and judges also forget many things.
