Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) – “Terrorists shot my husband dead right before my eyes. Yogiji, we want strict revenge—please take action!” cried Ishanya, the wife of Shubham Dwivedi, who was killed in the recent terror attack in Pahalgam. She made the emotional plea during Shubham’s funeral in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In response, the Chief Minister assured, “This attack will be the final nail in the coffin.”
Shubham’s father, Sanjay Dwivedi, echoed the demand for justice, stating, “These cowardly terrorists challenged the Indian government and walked away. The government must act firmly and decisively now.”
“They killed my husband for not reciting the Kalma” – Ishanya
Through tears, Ishanya recounted the horrifying moment : “Shubham and I were about to eat Maggi noodles when a man approached us from behind. He lowered his weapon and asked Shubham, ‘Are you Hindu or Muslim ? If you are Muslim, recite the Kalma.’ I chuckled nervously and asked, ‘What’s going on, brother ?’ Then he asked me the same— ‘Are you Hindu or Muslim?’ I replied, ‘I am Hindu.’ That is when he shot my husband. First, he killed Shubham. Then he opened fire on others.”
