Varanasi (UP) – Under the pretext of opposition to Waqf Amendment Act, 2025, in Murshidabad dist. Bengal, 3 innocent Hindus were killed, and more than 500 Hindu families were forced to migrate. Hindus’ houses, shops and temples were set on fire. There is a conspiracy to turn Bengal into another Kashmir under the name of Waqf Amendment Act. It is an organised attempt to make Hindus flee from the area by killing them. Mamata Banerjee government has failed to control the violence and maintain law and order. In a memorandum submitted to the District Magistrate, the Hindu Jan Jagruti Samiti has demanded immediate imposition of President’s rule in Bengal, to the President, the Prime Minister and the Home Minister.
At this time the president of Varanasi trade board, Ajit Singh Bagga, general secretary, Kavindra Jaiswal, joint secretary Manish Gupta, advocate Sanjeevan Yadav, the founder of ‘Bharat Wisdom’,advocate Rajesh Tiwari, advocate, Kamlesh Chandra Tripathi, RSS advocate Rajneesh Agrawal, Hindu Parishad advocate Avaneesh Rai, Rajan Keshari of Hindu Jan Jagruti Samitiand other dignitaries were present.
In the year 2021 after the Vidhan Sabha elections violence had surged in Bengal against Hindus. Hundreds of Hindu activists were killed, women were raped, and hundreds of voters were made to flee because they had voted for BJP. Every year there are pre-planned attacks on the Hindu religious processions on Shri Ram Navmi, Hanuman Jayanti, Navratrotsav in Hoogli, Howra, North Dinajpur, Malda etc, consequently, the local Hindu community is living under the shadow of terror. In Bengal the integrity of the Nation, existence of Hindus and the protection of constitutional values are in danger. If the Union government does not take stern action, other States will also face the same horrific situation in future. The statement said.
