Richa Mone, daughter of Atul Mone killed by terrorists

Mumbai – ‘The attackers asked, ‘Who are the Hindus and who are the Muslims ?’ At that moment, my uncle Sanjay Lele raised his hand. He was immediately shot in the head’, Richa Mone, daughter of Atul Mone, who was killed in the Pahalgam terrorist attack, said during an interview with the news channel ABP Majha. Atul Mone’s wife was also present during the interview.

Recalling the attack, Richa said, ‘I saw the two shooters. Our family was together when the gunfire started suddenly. I saw both of them firing guns. Then, as they came closer, they asked, ‘Who are the Hindus and who are the Muslims ?’ When my uncle raised his hand, they shot him in the head. My other uncle, Hemant Joshi, asked, ‘Why did you shoot him ?’ and they shot him too. My father, Atul Mone, pleaded with them saying, ‘Don’t shoot, we won’t do anything’, but they shot him in the stomach’. Richa and her mother urged the Union Government to give a strong response to this brutal attack.
