New Delhi – Producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah and actress Adah Sharma’s film ‘The Kerala Story’ directed by Sudipto Sen had received huge response in the country. Their next film titled ‘Bastar – The Naxal Story’ on Naxalites will be released on 15 th March. A special screening of the film was held at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) prior to its release. On this occasion, Sudipto Sen said that there are a handful of communists who are bringing disrepute to the bright students of JNU. Only the bright students of JNU can defeat them and make JNU proud through the good deeds. JNU has given nationalists and nation builders to the country, who are making the country a superpower.

Members of the SFI protested the screening of the film at JNU. Students from the left-wing student group created an uproar. More than 100 students of SFI protested against the screening of the film. Protesters blocked entry to the venue. The SFI also broke the lights of the auditorium twice to stop the screening of the film.

Editorial Perspective

Violent communist organisations, institutions and political parties should be banned for conducting anti-social activities and their leaders and members should be imprisoned.
