Telangana Police lathi-charge devotees on Mahashivratri outside Komuravelli Temple in Siddipet

BJP criticises

Siddipet (Telangana) – Devotees were lathi-charged by the Police when they arrived at the Komuravelli Temple for Jalabhishek on the day of Mahashivratri here. This caused tension. The video of the incident has been circulated on social media.

1. After the traditional puja at the temple, devotees thronged the temple and tried to cross the iron barriers erected here. The Police used lathis to stop them. Many devotees were injured. BJP has criticised this. Social media users are also criticising the Congress Government in the State.

2. BJP’s Telangana State Treasurer B Shanti Kumar in a post on ‘X’ said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s Government is oppressing Hindus. The Police did not spare the women devotees either. This is an attack on the fundamental rights of Hindus. Revanth Reddy, why such inhumane treatment to Hindus in the State ?

Editorial Perspectives

  • It is proven yet again that in the Congress-ruled States, Hindus always suffer !
  • Please note that the Congress politicians and pseudo-liberals who create an uproar when the Police beat up those who block the roads to offer namaz, do not say a word against such incidents.
