Meera-Bhainder (Mumbai) – BJP MLA from Telangana T Raja Singh’s Hindu Jan Akrosh Morcha scheduled to be held here on 25th February, has been cancelled as the Police denied permission citing an earlier statement by Raja Singh and the possibility of disturbing law and order.
The reasons given by the Police are as follows, “Currently class 12 exams are going on and controlling huge crowds will be a problem. The Organisers of the Morcha have been served a notice that under section 149 people cannot gather in large numbers at one place and must comply with Police orders. (Followers of other religions can unexpectedly come in large numbers and indulge in violence. They are never served with any notices. -Editor)
