Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) – Israel and Hamas war started four and a half months ago. More than 28 thousand Palestinian civilians have been killed so far. Regarding this, Brazilian President Lula da Silva compared Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with German dictator Adolf Hitler. “Netanyahu is carrying out massacre of Palestinians in Gaza. Israel’s action in Gaza is like the ‘Holocaust’ of the Jews”, said Lula at the African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia.

Israel’s response
Benjamin Netanyahu called the Brazilian President’s comments ‘shameful’. In this case, the Israeli Government summoned ‘the Brazilian ambassador to Israel‘ to register a protest. Netanyahu said that the attack on Gaza will not stop until the terrorist organisation Hamas is destroyed.
