The fanatical DYFI refuses to remove Tipu Sultan’s poster

Karnataka Police orders flouted

Mangaluru (Karnataka) – Konaje Police station inspectors recently issued a notice to the Harekala branch president of the ‘Democratic Youth Federation of India’ (DYFI) to remove a poster of Tipu Sultan, which was put up near the organisation’s office without prior permission; but ‘DYFI’ has refused to remove it.

District President of DYFI BK Imtiaz said, “Tipu Sultan’s poster has been put up as part of the State Council of the Democratic Youth Federation of India. The Government has no right to ban these posters.”

Even though the Government has changed in the state, the Police in Dakshina Kannada District are still working with a team mentality. He has refused to remove Tipu Sultan’s poster put up as part of the Karnataka State Conference to be held in Tokkottu from 25th February.

Editorial perspectives

  • It is evident that after the new Government came to power in Karnataka, fanatical organisations are flourishing here.
  • Will the Police, which otherwise bullies the Hindus, teach this organisation a lesson or bow down to them ?
