Family alleges rape and brutal murder

Malda (Bengal) – The half-naked dead body of a 25-year-old woman, Kalpana Mandal, was found in a maize field in Mothabari area of Malda District on 15^th February. She had gone missing on the evening of 14^th February, during Shri Saraswati Poojan. Her family has alleged that she was raped and brutally murdered. The body bore marks of assault and multiple knife wounds, according to the family.

In a post broadcasted on ‘X’, Amit Malviya, the head of BJP’s IT cell, stated that ‘Bengal under Mamata Banerjee’s leadership has become hell for women. Not a day goes by without a woman being raped and murdered. The cruelty of these crimes is often so horrific that it becomes difficult to sleep for many days. But as long as Mamata Banerjee keeps getting votes, she will remain unaffected. Criminals are never prosecuted because they are always connected to the ruling Trinamool Congress. Mamata Banerjee is a curse for the women of Bengal.’
