New York (USA) – The Khalistani terrorist organisation ‘Sikh for Justice’ has announced a referendum to be held in San Francisco on 28th January to separate the State of Punjab from India. New activities are being planned and executed by this organisation every day as the US remains passive against this organisation which openly speaks of dividing India and works towards it.
Earlier, this organisation held referendum for Khalistan in London, Geneva in 2021; Italy in 2022; Toronto and Brampton in Canada in 2022 and Melbourne (Australia) in 2023.
Gurdwaras in the US giving birth to radicalism
In the report ‘Pakistan Destabilise Playbook: Khalistan Separatist Activism Within America’ by the Hudson Institute in the US, it was mentioned that many Gurdwaras in the US have become the bases of radicalism. All activities of Khalistan-related organisations and their supporters should be investigated. India has often demanded action against supporters of Khalistan.
More than 2,50,000 Sikhs live in California, USA. There are many Gurdwaras in San Jones, Fremont, El Sobrante, Rossville areas. The Gurdwara at Fremont is the biggest. Khalistani supporters control the management committees of many Gurdwaras. A Gurdwara in Fremont has been accused of supporting the pro-Khalistan group ‘Sikh for Justice’. The organisation ‘Sikh for Justice’ is trying to take over the management of Gurdwaras in New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Washington. ‘Sikh for Justice’ is not the only organisation demanding Khalistan in USA, organisations named ‘World Sikh Parliament’ and ‘Sikh Youth for America’ are also quite active in this regard.
