Netanyahu faces growing opposition due to failure in freeing the hostages

Tel Aviv (Israel) – The war between Israel and Hamas has been going on for 80 days now and the Hamas terrorists have not yet released all the hostages. This has caused anguish to their families who started protesting during Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech in the Israeli parliament. Netanyahu assured them that he would make every effort to free all the hostages.

Netanyahu said in his speech in the parliament that the campaign to free the hostages would take more time; his relatives who were present in the parliament began to oppose him. An Israeli citizen said that the war had been going on for 80 days. Every moment has been hell for us. If the Government leaders’ children were abducted, would it take so long ? The Prime Minister said that he would not spare any effort to free the hostages.

Out of 129 hostages, 22 killed

Hamas terrorists in Gaza abducted many people in an attack on Israel on 7th October 2023. Of these, 129 people are still under their control and 22 of them have been killed, it is said. The remaining 107 are waiting for their release.
