Lakshmanpuri/Lucknow (UP) – Recently, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held an important meeting regarding security in Ayodhya for the consecration ceremony at Shriram Temple. In this meeting, a decision has been taken that visitors cannot enter Ayodhya without invitation. The reservations of uninvited visitors who had booked hotels and guesthouses earlier would be cancelled. The administration is being alert because of the crowd in Ayodhya. Only those with an invitation from the organising committee would be allowed in Ayodhya on 22nd January 2024.
- Any outsider who does not have an invitation from the organising committee, will not be permitted on the temple premises on the consecration day of Shriram Temple, i.e. 22nd January 2024.
- The temple will be closed for general devotees and will reopen for them on 23rd January. Even on that day, a huge crowd is expected, therefore, the administration has tightened the security.
- If the hotels and guesthouses hike their tariff on the 22nd of January, action will be taken against them.
- All the hotel and guesthouse staff will have to go through security checks.
