Speaking at the inaugural session of their World Hindu Congress (WHC), H.H. Sarsanghchalak said that the world has not achieved satisfaction through several experimented methods of materialism, communism and capitalism and that they have restarted rethinking after the COVID-19 pandemic.
He appealed to Hindus across the world to connect with each other and asserted that India will show the path of achieving happiness and satisfaction to other countries. “Today’s world is now stumbling. For 2,000 years they have performed so many experiments to bring happiness, bliss and peace. They have tried materialism, communism and capitalism. They have tried various religions. They have assumed material prosperity. But there is no satisfaction … It seems they are unanimous in thinking that Bharat will provide the way”, he said.
He said that Hindus must play a key role in spreading the spirit of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (One world, one family) by coming and working together. “We have to reach out, connect with every Hindu. And Hindus together will connect everybody in the world. As Hindus are connected in more numbers, the process of connecting with the world has also started,” he mentioned.
“We have to go and contact everybody, connect with him and bring him to us by our service. We have that spirit. We have an edge over the world in the matter of selfless service. It is in our tradition and values. So, reach out and conquer nothing but hearts,” the RSS chief further added.

The echo of Shriram Mandir should be heard all over the world : Swami Vigyanananda (of WHF)
Swami Vigyanananda (Chairman of World Hindu Foundation and Chief organiser of WHC) said, “We have ordered Prasad from Ayodhya. A replica of Shriram Mandir at Ayodhya is being built here (Bangkok). We have also brought an image of the birth place of Ram Lalla from Ayodhya. The echo of Shriram Mandir should be heard in the whole world even before the consecration of Shriram Lalla”.
Anti-Hindus will be under control if we display our strength : Swami Mitrananda (of Chinmaya Mission)
“First and foremost to demonstrate the strength of Hindu organisations we must appreciate each other’s work; if we do this and display our strength, the results will be completely different.
For this, we need to remember the Narasimha Avatar, who had to come because there was one Hiranyakashipu then; we have many today. We need to invoke that Narasimha. We need to be together. Each organisation is the small child Prahlad. When we UNITE, when we demonstrate TOGETHER, Narasimha will MANIFEST. Once we are able to demonstrate our strength together, everybody will be in their place”, said Swami Mitrananda.
Hindu Janajagruti Samiti’s participation in the WHC

The term ‘Hinduism’ is oppressive and discriminatory : WHCThe WHC adopted a declaration asserting that the word ‘Hindutva’ was more accurate as it includes the gamut of all that the word ‘Hindu’ implies. “In the term Hindu Dharma, ‘Hindu’ is an unbounded word. It signifies all that is Sanatan or Eternal. And, then there is Dharma, which means – ‘That, which sustains’. In contrast, Hinduism is totally different because it is suffixed with an ‘ism’, which is a term defined as an oppressive and discriminatory attitude or belief. It is for such reasons that many of our elders preferred the term ‘Hindutva’ over ‘Hinduism’ as the former is a more accurate since it includes the gamut of all that the word Hindu implies”. “Others have used the alternative Sanatan Dharma, often abbreviated as Sanatan. Here, the term ‘Sanatan’ works as an adjective indicating Hindu Dharma’s eternal nature”, WHC said. The declaration noted that out of ignorance, many academicians and intellectuals portray Hindutva as the antithesis of Hindu Dharma. “But most are anti-Hindutva because of their visceral hatred and biases against Hindu Dharma. Many politicians driven by political agendas and personal prejudices have also joined that group, and are criticizing Sanatan Dharma, or Sanatan with increasing regularity and vitriol”, it added. |
