
Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) – Pastor Binu Vazhamuttom of the ‘Elohim Global Worship Centre’ has been accused of assaulting minor children, unlawfully confining them, and forcing them to perform labour. The case came to light after a 17-year-old boy from Anakkara in Kerala’s Idukki district lodged a complaint against the pastor. Following the complaint, angry citizens took to the streets demanding the pastor’s arrest. (Realise what is taking place under the guise of a ‘Worship Centre’ ! – Editor)
1. Minor children at ‘Snehathanal’, an institution run by Pastor Binu Vazhamuttom, were allegedly assaulted. They were also unlawfully confined and forced to perform labour.
2. On 21 June 2026, BJP workers staged a protest outside the ‘Elohim Global Worship Centre’ in Pathanamthitta, Kerala, demanding the pastor’s arrest.
3. Additional police personnel have been deployed in and around the centre to maintain law and order.
