The case of donation theft from Shriram temple in Ayodhya

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) – The Special Investigation Team (SIT) submitted a preliminary report to the government on June 22nd regarding the donation theft in the Shriram temple, post which a case has been registered, and 8 people have been accused. Champat Rai, the general secretary of Shriram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust, has resigned from his post. Along with him, the principal member of the trust, Anil Mishra, also resigned. It is said that VHP national general secretary Bajrang Lal Bagra has accepted Champat Rai’s resignation. Currently, many senior VHP office bearers are present in Ayodhya.

7 out of 8 accused arrested

Seven out of eight accused in the case have been arrested. The list of accused also includes Champat Rai’s close aide and driver Tinnu Yadav.
