Placards displayed in Pratappur forest area on Chhattisgarh-Maharashtra border
Gadchiroli (Maharashtra) – Naxals have displayed two red placards in Pratappur jungle on Chhattisgarh–Maharashtra border extending support to Hamas. It is written on the placards that ‘Hamas is not a terrorist organisation but an organisation fighting for freedom of people of Palestine; therefore, support Palestine and support the border.
Naxals had killed a few BJP activists during Chhattisgarh State Assembly elections; followed by the murder of three persons in Gadchiroli District of Maharashtra; therefore, in the background of their ‘People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA)’ week observed from 2nd to 8th December, and known for violent activities, the border areas are under tension.
