Tel Aviv (Israel) – Hamas has lost its control over the Gaza Strip after 16 years. Hamas terrorists are retreating to South Gaza, and people are looting Hamas bases, claimed Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant. Israel’s Army has secured control over the Hamas Parliament and circulated its pictures on social media.
Hamas Chief Command Centre found under Rantisi Children’s Hospital
Israel’s Army had feared that Hamas had kept the hostages at its main Command Centre in the basement of Rantisi Hospital. Chairs, ropes, weapons, motorbikes, lists of duties allotted to guards, etc. were seized from that place. A mobile toilet, kitchen and ventilation pipes were also found at that place. The hostages were, however, shifted to another place before the Army reached. This hospital is run with the help of the World Health Organization (WHO).
IDF claims to have destroyed 91 tunnels
Israeli Defence Force (IDF) also claimed that their army was attacked from Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza. Hamas terrorists threw grenades, along with firing, at the army. In the Israeli retaliation, 21 terrorists were killed. The Army has found 91 tunnels so far which have been destroyed using explosives.
Doctors refuse to evacuate Al Shifa Hospital
The doctors working at Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza have refused to evacuate the hospital though IDF had asked them to do so. The doctors said that around 700 patients would die if they vacated the hospital.
