Tel Aviv (Israel) – Amichai Eliyahu, Israel’s Minister of State for Heritage, has said that ‘There is a possibility of a nuclear attack on the Gaza Strip in this war’. After he made this statement, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu suspended him from the cabinet indefinitely. Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Eliyahu’s statement is not based on reality. We are acting by the highest standards of International law to make sure that no innocent Israelis are hurt by these statements. We will follow these rules until we achieve victory.
Now the major point of discussion is ‘Who will control Gaza after the destruction of Hamas’
The US Secretary of State Blinken’s Middle East tour continues against the background of the war between Israel and Hamas. He met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank’s Ramallah. It is believed that Blinken wanted to discuss as to who will control Gaza once Hamas is destroyed. After West Bank, Blinken will next visit Turkiye. Blinken met Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister in Jordan on 4th November after holding talks with Prime Minister Netanyahu in Israel.
