HJS Appeals to Navaratri Celebration Committees : Prevent ‘Love Jihad’ by banning non-Hindus from entering the Garba venues

Many cases of ‘Love Jihad’ are reported during Navratri Celebration where Hindu young girls and women fall prey
Mr Ramesh Shinde (Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti)

Through a Press Note, Mr Ramesh Shinde (Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti) said :

Navaratri is a festival to worship Adishakti (Primal Energy), but in this period, ‘Love Jihadis’ hatch a plot to deceive and harm Stree-Shakti. These ‘Love Jihadis’ hide their identity, assume fake Hindu names, tie sacred threads to their wrists, and enter Garba venues. In this period, many cases of ‘Love Jihad’ are reported where Hindu young girls and women fall prey. Against this background, HJS appeals to Navaratri Festival Celebration Committees and Garba organisers to be cautious and prevent non-Hindus from participating in Garba programmes for the safety of Hindu young girls and to maintain law and order. HJS also suggested that boards be displayed at the entrance of venues about the prohibition on non-Hindus and checking of Aadhaar cards of all the participants at the entrance itself.

A special CBI court in Jharkhand has recently awarded life imprisonment to Rakibul Hasan, who posed as a Hindu and married national shooter Tara Sahdev and then beat her to convert to Islam. Rakibul’s mother, who pressurised her to convert, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. From this case, ‘Love Jihad’ has once again been proved legally. In the past few years, Hindu girls have been lured into false ‘Love Traps’, and forced to convert, and many Shraddha Walkars who opposed it have been brutally murdered. Not only Hindu organisations but even Christian organisations and their religious leaders have raised their voices on this issue. Two former communist Chief Ministers of Kerala – Oommen Chandy and Vs. Achuthanandan have accepted the gravity of the ‘Love Jihad’ issue. A law has been passed against ‘Love Jihad’ in six States and the demand for similar laws in other States is growing. Along with HJS, many Hindu organisations have taken out processions for such a law to be passed in Maharashtra. Chief Minister of Maharashtra has also assured that a ‘Anti-Love Jihad Act’ will be passed.

To save Hindu girls from ‘Love Jihad’, security systems should be set up at Garba venues. The Aadhaar Card of every entrant should be checked, their names ascertained, and only then, they should be allowed to enter. Tilak may be applied to the forehead of every entrant to keep non-Hindu ‘Love Jihadis’ away from this Festival Celebration.
