Bajrang Dal workers throw him out
A Muslim youth who entered the Garba venue in the YMCA club
Ahmedabad (Gujarat) – A Muslim youth who entered the Garba venue in the YMCA club here was caught by the pro-Hindu organisations and thrown out. A video of this incident has been circulating on social media.
The said Muslim youth entered the club dressed as a Hindu. Bajrang Dal workers present at the club suspected and questioned him. His Aadhaar Card was checked which confirmed that he was a Muslim. He was told that it was not a disco programme. If he did not believe in Hindu Deities, there was no reason to visit the pandal. He was warned not to show up again and was taken out of the pandal.
No entry to non-Hindus at Ujjain
Non-Hindus are banned from entering Garba pandals in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. In addition, entry is not allowed without an Aadhaar Card. The Sankalp Sanskriti Sanstha here has made it mandatory to apply tilak on the forehead while entering its pandal. Bahadur Singh Rathore, President of this organisation said, ‘We are not against any religion; but those who want to come should come with the women of their family. Aadhaar Cards will be verified here’. Sachin Sharma, Superintendent of Police, said it was a decision taken by the organisers.
