U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance's visit to Switzerland cancelled

Washington (USA) —Peace talks between USA and Iran has stalled due Isriel’s attack on Lebanon. Hence, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance has canceled a trip to Switzerland meant for the talks. to negotiate a peace deal between the United States and Iran in exchange for the recent peace deal between the United States and Iran. A meeting was to be held between senior diplomats of the USA and Iran for the execution of the peace deal recently made between them, at the Burgenstock resort, Switzerland. At the meeting, Vance was scheduled to discuss with Iranian representatives to determine the further course of action for the peace deal. The meeting has now been postponed indefinitely.
1. The Swiss Foreign Ministry has officially confirmed the news of cancellation of the meeting.
2. Within hours of the cancellation of Vance’s planned visit to Switzerland, it was announced that the next round of talks between the two countries had been postponed.
3. According to the report of Al-Mayadeen, Iran has expressed strong displeasure over Israel’s continued military activities in Lebanon. These developments have temporarily disrupted the peace process between the United States and Iran and the date of the next talks has not yet been announced.
4. Iran has taken a very tough stance during the talks. Iran demands that Israel immediately stop its aggression in southern Lebanon and return the territory it has occupied.
5. Israel has rejected this demand. Israel has taken a firm position that ‘The Iranian-backed Shiite terrorist organisation, Hezbollah, poses a major threat to northern Israel. Therefore, our forces will not be withdrawn and the Israeli military should have complete freedom to fight against Hezbollah.’
