Theft in Shriram Mandir is nothing new : Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati

Baghpat (Uttar Pradesh) – Theft in Shriram Mandir is nothing new. You have raised this issue now, but theft has been taking place there for a long time. The signs were evident from the very beginning. Experts should have been consulted during the construction of the temple. Four Shankaracharyas and the heads of 13 Akharas were ready to assist in the construction of the temple, but they were sidelined and people close to certain individuals were inducted into the trust instead. When you appoint your own favoured people, it means they will be able to serve their own interests; that is why they were brought in. It was clear even then that thefts would occur there, said the Shankaracharya of Jyotish Peeth, Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati.

Vote only for the protection of Gomata in the forthcoming elections !

Speaking on the protection of Gomata, Shankaracharya said, “Gomata is not merely a matter of faith, but the foundation of Indian culture, traditions and the rural economy. We are conducting a public awareness yatra across Uttar Pradesh to create awareness about granting Gomata the status of Rashtramata. So far, we have interacted with people in nearly 200 Assembly constituencies. In the forthcoming elections, vote only for the protection of Gomata.”
