India, China agree on maintaining peace on border in military Chief-level talks

New Delhi – The 20th round of Corps Commander level talks between the Armies of Bharat and China was held near Chushul-Moldo in Ladakh sector on 9-10th October. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, in this meeting the Line of Actual Control (LAC) between Bharat and China and other issues were discussed. Indian Army Officers forced China to withdraw its Army from Depsang and Demchok in Ladakh. Both Bharat and China have agreed to maintain peace on the border. Both the countries expressed their views openly.

Although China has agreed to maintain peace on the border, it cannot be trusted. Bharat will have to be ever vigilant.
