‘Dainik Loksatta’ defames Sanatan Sanstha’s National Spokesperson Chetan Rajhans

Mumbai – On the official website of ‘Dainik Loksatta’, news was published on the 7th of October 2023 – an alleged member of Sanatan Sanstha, stated to be involved in the case of seizure of 20 bombs from his house/ godown, gets bail.  Instead of publishing the photo of Vaibhav Raut getting bail, the photo of Chetan Rajhans, the National Spokesperson of Sanatan Sanstha has been published. Though Chetan Rajhans is nowhere connected to this case or referred to in the news, he has been shown as accused by publishing his photo. He has, therefore, stated that he has been defamed through this news.

The news has no reference to his name or his reaction to the happening, but a reader would think that the photo is of Vaibhav Raut who has been released on bail. Vaibhav Raut, who has been granted bail, is an activist of ‘Hindu Govansh Raksha Samiti’. He has, however, been referred to as an alleged member of Sanatan Sanstha in the news published by ‘Loksatta’, through which even Sanatan Sanstha has been defamed.
