BJP opposed this statement

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Abdul Bari Siddiqui
Patliputra (Bihar) – Very backward, backward and a second quota would be essential in the women’s reservation, otherwise only women who apply ‘powder’, ‘lipstick’ and ‘bob cut’ will move forward in the name of women’s reservation, stated Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Abdul Bari Siddiqui said about the Women’s Reservation Bill. BJP has criticised him for this statement. BJP MLA Janak Singh from Bihar’s Muzaffarpur said he would drag Siddiqui to Court. How do people like Siddiqui become leaders ? People with such a mentality cannot see women progressing socially/politically – low level of politics.
