The points presented by H.H. Sarsanghchalak (Dr) Mohanji Bhagwat in his guidance
- Temples are an inseparable part of our tradition. Muths and temples are necessary to take society forward, with one goal.
- Temples should be managed by the new generation by imparting necessary training to them.
- Temple is the foundation of holiness and attention should be paid to their cleanliness. One has to wash hands and feet before entering Gurdwara, but that practice is not followed in temples. It has to be done for maintaining cleanliness in our temples.
- A list should be made of even small temples in our lanes. Puja should be performed there every day, and they should be kept clean. Let us all try to organise and manage it.
- Temples are run with the help of devotees. Earlier, even ‘Gurukul’ used to be run in temples. The next generation used to get trained through discourses, stories from our Holy Scriptures, Puran, etc.
Editorial Viewpoint
It should be demanded in this Convention that temples should be handed over to devotees for management by relieving them from Government’s control. Also, every temple should arrange to impart education on Dharma (Dharmashikshan) to Hindus. |
