Congress Govt in Karnataka to remove chapter on RSS founder Hedgewar from the school textbooks

Education Minister called Hedgewar a ‘coward’

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – After Congress came to power in Karnataka, the process of removing the chapter on RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar from the school textbooks has been started. This chapter was included in the curriculum during the BJP Government. At the time of elections, the Congress had promised to remove it in its manifesto.

1. Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa said, “The syllabus of school textbooks will be revised from this year itself. The academic year had started even before the change of Government in the State. Therefore, the old books will not be taken back, but schools will be given additional instructions on what to teach and what not to teach. No recommendations have yet been received from the technical committee as to what changes need to be made in the books. The Cabinet will discuss the recommendations from the committee. This process will take 10 to 15 days. We are trying to complete it soon.”

The Congress Government in Karnataka will not allow Hedgewar’s life stories to be included in the books.” (Congress left no chance to insult those who worked for Hindus. 3. On this, BJP has accused Congress of distorting history and demanded an apology for calling Hedgewar a ‘coward’. Union IT Minister Rajeev Chandrashekhar said, “This decision of Government is unfair to the youth.”

Editorial Viewpoint

This is called vindictive mentality of Congress. Nothing else can be expected from the Congress which glorifies Tipu Sultan who killed and converted lakhs of Hindus.
