Ghaziabad (UP) – Cases of conversion of Hindu teens through online games are coming to light. A group of religious fanatics is active in converting Hindu children. More than 100 Hindu teens have come in contact with the leader of this gang, Shahnawaz Maksood alias Baddo.
1. New revelations are happening as the probe into the conversion of Hindu teens through an ‘online gaming app’ from Ghaziabad continues. So far, Police have received information about conversion of Hindu youth from 5 States.
2. The ‘Call Detail Record’ (CDR) of Shahnawaz Maksood alias Baddo has revealed that over 100 Hindu minors came in contact with him in last one year. Information has been received from the bank that lakhs of rupees were being deposited in his account every month. This amount was deposited from Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana and Chandigarh.
3. Police officials said that people themselves are contacting the Police after the news of the conversion through an ‘online gaming app’ was published by the media.
Conversion of Hindu teens from Faridabad and Chandigarh
Abdul Rahman, a former member of the mosque committee in Sanjaynagar, has been arrested by the Police in this case. His interrogation revealed that the gang had converted young boys from Faridabad and Chandigarh. Later, Police investigation revealed conversions in Gujarat and Maharashtra as well.

Baddo’s ties with Pakistan
The security agencies and the Police are looking into the links of Baddo, the leader of conversion gang, with Pakistan.
Claim of converting 400 Hindu youths in Thane (Maharashtra)
The police recently received a call from Thane in Maharashtra. The caller claimed that Baddo’s gang had converted 400 people in Thane. He has claimed that after the arrest of Baddo, there can be a big disclosure.
