Sent home after enquiry

Amritsar (Punjab) – Kirandeep, the wife of Amritpal Singh, the chief of Khalistani organisation ‘Waris Punjab De’ (Heirs of Punjab), was stopped by the authorities at the Amritsar airport on 20th April. After questioning her, she was sent back to Jallupur Khera, village in Punjab. Kirandeep was boarding an Air-India flight to London. Kirandeep is a non-resident Indian. It is said that she can stay in India for 180 days.

According to the sources, Kirandeep told the officials that she was going to meet her parents. There is no case registered against her in India.
