Hindu students celebrating Holi attacked in Pakistan : 15 injured

Lahore (Pakistan) – Islamists of Islami Jamiat Tulba (IJT) attacked Hindu students celebrating Holi at Punjab University. Fifteen students got injured in this attack. A video of this incident is viral. IJT is a radical Islamic student organisation.

Thirty students had gathered to celebrate Holi in the Law College of the Punjab University, Lahore. Islamists of the IJT stopped the students forcibly from celebrating Holi. There was a fight between the two groups injuring fifteen Hindu students. Hindu students said that they had permission from the University Administration to celebrate the Holi festival. Khurram Shahzad, the Spokesperson informed that the Vice-Chancellor has given the order to conduct an inquiry in this case.
