Bengaluru – A discussion was held with the BJP National Chairperson JP Nadda about the Maharashtra – Karnataka border issue. Karnataka will not give even an inch of land to Maharashtra. Karnataka will not compromise in any case, said Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai while addressing the media. He also made clear that no discussion about the border issue took place with the Central Home Minister Amit Shah.

The Deputy CM of Maharashtra Fadnavis had a call with Amit Shah and demanded to look into the Maharashtra – Karnataka border issue. The above answer was given by CM Bommai when the media asked about this call. Further, he added that Nadda has told Maharashtra CM on call to maintain peace. All the required precautions for the safety of the Kannada people in Maharashtra have been taken. A discussion with the Police Commissioner and Secretary-General of Maharashtra has already taken place.
