Pastor inviting Hindus in prayer meeting to discard Deities’ pictures in their houses

Crime registered against pastor Ravi Francis converting Hindus in Dehradun

Dehradun (UP) – Crime has been registered against pastor Ravi Francis for converting Hindus here. Pastor Ravi Francis said denigrating comments in the prayer meeting with regard to Hindu Deities. He was inviting Hindus there to discard Deities’ pictures in their respective houses. Police are investigating the issue further. Hindu organisations had staged demonstrations alleging that Pastor Ravi for calling Hindus in the name of offering prayer and converting them. After having received the information the Police went there and arrested Pastor Ravi; but released him soon after conducting the inquiry; but registered a complaint with regard to this issue.

Chhatrapal Singh had said in the complaint filed by him that pastor was trying to convert Hindus present there and when he had opposed him, he was beaten up. Francis had converted 50 – 60 individuals so far.
