Eight arrested in Haridwar for offering namaz on the path of the Kawad pilgrimage

Haridwar (Uttarakhand) – Currently Haridwar is the centre of Kawad pilgrimage and the security agencies have got information that there could be a terrorist attack in the city. And now on 21st July in the evening weekly market, in Shivalik Nagar in the Ranipur area, the 8 Muslims offered namaz on the road. The road where the namaz was offered was the path for the Kavad Yatra. On learning this the Police arrested the 8 individuals – Muhammad Nijam, Naseem, Murdalin, Ashraf, Ashraf Asghar, Mustafa, Sajjad, and Ikram.
