Guwahati (Assam) – The political drama in Maharashtra has now reached Assam. Mr Eknath Shinde has been staying at Radisson Blue Hotel with other Shiv Sena MLAs. Trinamool Congress (TMC) activists staged demonstrations outside this hotel by accusing the Government of offering hospitality to the people of Maharashtra when the local people are dying in the deluge in Assam, especially since the Centre has not extended any help to the flood-affected people.
