Patliputra (Bihar) – The youths staged a violent protest alleging that the Indian Railway`s RRB-NTPC and Group D exams were rigged. Protesters started stone pelting on Republic Day and set Bhabua-Patna Intercity Express on fire. Police lathi-charged protesters at many places.

The agitating youth damaged the Shramjeevi Express. In Jehanabad, youths staged a protest by stopping a passenger train and the students hoisted the flag on the railway tracks. Due to this protest, the railway ministry has postponed the NTPC and level-1 exams and a committee has been formed. The committee will talk to the students who have passed and those who have failed the exams and send a report to the Ministry of Railways, informed the Railway Administration.
