Government of Odisha sanctions ₹78.76 lakh to Mother Teresa’s organisation

 Editorial comments

  • How many Hindu organisations have been given such assistance by Biju Janata Dal Government ?
  • Christian organisations convert Hindus under the pretext of social work. They attempt to make Hindus the followers of Jesus. Given this, it is nothing but a betrayal of Hindus to sanction money collected from the taxes and offerings of majority Hindus to such organisations. Hindus should lawfully oppose this !

Bhubaneswar (Odisha) – Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal president Naveen Patnaik has sanctioned ₹78.76 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to 13 organisations run by Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity.

These organisations operate in 8 Districts of the State. This decision will reportedly benefit more than 900 leprosy patients as well as some orphanages. A few days ago, the Central Government had refused to renew the FCRA registration (required for accepting foreign funds) of the Missionaries of Charity.
