
New Delhi – Union Minister Anurag Thakur informed that, following the Central Government orders, Google-owned YouTube has banned 20 YouTube channels propagating anti-India ideology.
20 YouTube channels and two websites were banned by the Indian government under the Information and Technology (IT) Act for allegedly running ‘anti-India’ propaganda from Pakistan.

These 20 YouTube channels were operated from Pakistan. Two websites, also operated from Pakistan, have been banned as well. The YouTube channels had 20 lakh subscribers. These channels were propagating fake news on 3 farm bills, Shriram Mandir, Kashmir and other issues related to India.
