Editorial comment

  • Those who spread such hatred about the death of India’s patriotic commander should be arrested immediately and prosecuted for treason and imprisoned for life.

New Delhi – Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) which means the head of all 3 defence forces, General Bipin Rawat, along with his wife and 11 others lost their lives in a helicopter crash in the Coonoor region of Tamil Nadu. Mourning was observed all across the Nation and abroad. However, some Anti-nationals, Hindu-haters and Khalistan supporters expressed joy on social media. Javad Khan, from Rajasthan, has been arrested in this case. He published General Bipin Rawat`s picture and captioned it as saying, burnt alive before going to hell.

Before the official announcement of Rawat’s death in the accident, some retired Army officers tweeted that he had died. While some people tweeted saying this was the right thing to happen for him.

Retired Lieutenant HS Panag and retired Colonel Baljit Bakshi were among those who tweeted about the death. Bakshi tweeted saying, Karma has its own way of dealing with people. Later he removed this tweet and apologised. However, after a while, he even removed the tweet where he had apologised. Bakshi is a supporter of the banned organisation ‘Sikh for Justice’ which demands independent Khalistan.

Now it is Ajit Dowal`s turn – Shivabhai Ahil’s Facebook post from Gujarat

Shivbhai Ahil from Gujarat has posted on his Facebook page saying, Pulwama traitor Manohar Parrikar, General Bipin Rawat and now it is National Security Adviser Ajit Doval’s turn. BJP leader demanded action against him.

After the news of General Rawat was announced, Congress mouthpiece, Editor Ashlin Mathew tweeted ‘divine intervention’

(Since the mentality of the Congress is anti-national, what is the surprise if the journalists working as its mouthpiece also have such mentality ? The Government should imprison such people.)

Ashlin Mathew, the Editor of the Congress mouthpiece National Herald, posted a tweet saying, ‘Divine Intervention’ and later deleted it. But people refused to accept the apology.
