Ruckus by the opposition for cancelling the farm laws without any discussion

New Delhi – Winter Session commenced on 29th November. On the first day, the proposal of cancelling the three farm laws passed earlier was approved but there was a lot of uproar from the opposition for not discussing it. Agitation for the cancellation of these laws was going on since last year. Therefore, Prime Minister Modi had announced their cancellation. Thereafter, it was approved in the Union Cabinet meeting.

Congress leader and spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewal had said while tweeting that, these farm laws were repealed without discussion. If the proposal had come for discussion, then they would have had to give the answers.
