Moradabad (UP) – Congress leader Mahira Khan, alias Mehak Warsi, has been detained in a 7-year-old case of cow slaughter, cow smuggling and cheating. A non-bailable warrant was issued against her earlier. Mahira is Moradabad’s metropolitan President of Mahila Congress.

During the Samajwadi Party’s Government in Uttar Pradesh, Mahira used to slaughter cows and smuggle cattle. At that time, due to political aid, it is being said that action was not taken against her. In the name of getting Government recognition for a college, an incident of cheating of three and a half lakh rupees, a case was filed against Mahira. In this case, Mahira was being prosecuted and a charge sheet was also filed in the Court.
