Allegations of CBI failing to investigate the matter despite the presence of documents
New Delhi – French plane-maker Dassault paid Rs. 65 crore in bribes to a middleman to help secure the sale of 36 Rafale fighter jets to India. In its latest report, the French online journal Mediapart has claimed and alleged that Indian investigation agency CBI failed to investigate the matter despite the presence of documents.

The report with regards to the Rafale fighter plane deal published in Mediapart forced France to investigate the allegations in July.

The report claimed evidence of kickbacks in the Rs 59,000 crore Rafale fighter plane deal. The portal has also published the fake receipts of the deal.
