New Delhi – The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested two retired Naval Officers, one serving Commander and two civilians in connection with the leak of commercial information on the procurement and maintenance of the Navy’s submarine fleet. The Navy HQ has also launched an internal investigation.

The CBI has conducted raids at 19 places in Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. The present Commander had informed the Retired Officers about the modernisation project of the present ‘Kilo Class’ submarine.
