Lakhimpur Kheri (Uttar Pradesh) – An FIR was filed against Ajay Mishra Teni`s son, Ashish Mishra Teni in connection with the violence here. Upon this Ajay Mishra has challenged saying that if any evidence was found about his son’s presence at the place where the incident took place; he would resign from his post as the Minister. Farmers have demanded Ashish’s arrest. Crime has been registered against farmers in connection with the violence. The car owned by Mishra and the other 3 vehicles ran over the farmers and killed 3 farmers. Among the 3 cars, Ashish was driving one, claimed the farmers.

Let there be an impartial inquiry. I am ready to face any inquiring agency. Due to God’s grace, I was not at the place of the accident. If I were there, I would not be present before you now, claimed Ashish Mishra while talking to the representative of the news channel ‘Times Now’.
Ashish Mishra said further that, when the incident happened, I was in my village. Our 3 workers were beaten to death, and my driver was pushed into a burning car. Farmers in India cannot act like this.
