According to reports, Musharraf, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, was a teacher at a Madarsa in Tumkuru, Karnataka. He had sexually abused a minor boy on 17th April 2015. When the boy’s mother went to the Madarsa to meet him, he told her everything that had happened. The accused teacher was arrested after the mother reported the matter. A case was registered against him under the POCSO Act.
Since Musharraf did not speak Kannada, he took the boy to Tumkuru railway station to get a train ticket. Later, he committed the gruesome act with the boy at a nearby hotel in the night.
