Hindus offer 1.5 times bigger land for mosque in Mathura

Shrikrushna Janmbhoomi dispute

Mathura (UP) – Mahendra Pratap Singh, one of the petitioners and the President of Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi Mukti Andolan Samiti offered in the Disctrict Court a replacement land for the Mosque built on the 13.37 acres of land of Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi. He has made this offer based on the verdict given by the Court in Shriram Janmbhoomi case. The Court had ordered the Government to give 5 acres land in Ayodhya to the Mosque.

  1. A petition is lodged in the Court for the Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi. The land is occupied by Shahi Mosque and the temple which are adjacent to each other. Hindus have lodged a petition in the Court that the land occupied by the Mosque belongs to Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi and it should be returned to them. Advocate Singh has newly filed a petition in which he says, ‘one and half times more land can be given to the Mosque beyond 84 kos of Braj. This would end the matter peacefully’. The Court in Mathura has fixed 5th July as the next date of hearing.
  2. Tanveer Ahmed, Secretary and Counsel for Shahi Masjid in Mathura said, “no copy of such application was handed over to us. We will examine the averments made therein after receiving the copy”.

I do not support the application for the replacement land – Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain

Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain, a Spokesperson of Hindu Front For Justice made a Tweet in this regard, “I do not support offer of alternate land in Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi case by Hindus. If alternate land is offered it means that illegal possession of Muslims was justified. It is not just a fight for land it is a fight of virtues and principles”.
