Samvit Somgiri Ji Maharaj renounces His body in Rajasthan !

Jodhpur (Rajasthan) – Mahant Samvit Somgiri Maharaj renounced His body on 18th March in Shivbari Math in Bikaner. He was an engineer. He worked actively to spread the Srimad Bhagavad Gita. He has followers in Rajasthan as well as in various parts of the country. Apart from Bikaner, there is a math in Mount Abu as well. Mahants and priests from temples, maths and ashrams in Bikaner offered their respects to Samvit Somgiri Ji Maharaj after he renounced His body.

Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janjagruti Samiti shared a unique bond with H.H. Swami Samvit Somgiri Ji Maharaj

Providing blessings to the activities of Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janjagruti Samiti

Ever since our first interaction with H.H. Swami Samvit Somgiri Ji Maharaj in 2016, he had always provided his blessings for establishing the Hindu Rashtra (Nation) and for developing a sense of awareness about Dharma among fellow Hindus. He always offered food and accomodation at his Shivbari Math for all the full-time members of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti (HJS) who used to visit Bikaner for propagation of Dharma. He made it a point to attend the All-India Hindu Rashtra Convention which was held in Goa. He used to request HJS and Sanatan Sanstha to arrange an exhibition of flex-boards imparting education of Dharma to Hindus and to set up a bookstall that has the Holy texts published by Sanatan Sanstha at the Shiv Temple in Shivbari. He had also made all the necessary arrangements for the members of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti who were in Kota for propagation of Dharma. On several occasions, he had also provided us with useful references in relation to establishing Hindu Nation.

An exceptional Saint who rekindled awareness of Dharma among fellow Hindus

He was a pillar of support for all those striving for propagation of Dharma. He rekindled the awareness of Dharma among the fellow Hindus by organising Gita exam to spread awareness about the teachings from the Bhagavat Gita, by nurturing and training internationally excellent sharpshooters at the Samvit Shooting & Dhanurved Sansthan and by offering a platform to the fellow residents of Bikaner by renovating the Shiv Temple at Shivbari. He always supported those who were involved in the activities of Dharma.

Taking the devout mission of H.H. Swami Samvit Somgiri Ji Maharaj to the next level would be a real tribute to him

A Lecturer who became renunciant, H.H. Swami Samvit Somgiri Ji Maharaj had a passion for leveraging the latest technology for propagating Dharma. He liked the fact that the Maharshi University of Spirituality utilises modern science and equipment to showcase the greatness of Hindu Dharma. H.H. Swami Samvit Somgiri Ji Maharaj who had rekindled awareness of Dharma among the Hindus is no longer with us. His passing away has taken away a major support for many Hindus and devotees alike. It would be a spiritual responsibility of every devout Hindu to continue with the activities started by him for propagating Dharma.
