Those who went to Saudi Arabia to study Sharia will not be allowed to return to the country !
President Ibrahim Traoré also made it clear that those who had gone from Burkina Faso to Saudi Arabia to study Sharia law would not be allowed to return to the country.
He said,
“We do not want to implement Sharia in our country. In such a situation, we have no need for those who are studying Sharia in Saudi Arabia. They should remain there. There is no need for them to return to our country. Instead of acquiring technical knowledge and skills that would contribute to the development of our country, they voluntarily chose to study Sharia law.”
