After Bangladesh, now Hindu temples in Pakistan are being attacked too! Will the Indian Government ever become proactive and make efforts to prevent such incidents?
Islamabad (Pakistan) – A 100 year old temple in Rawalpindi city was vandalised by 10 -15 religious fanatics. The attack took place while the temple was being renovated. They have broken the door on the first floor and staircase as well. The security officer of the Evacuee Trust Property Board, Northern Zone, Syed Raza Abbas Zaidi, lodged an FIR in the police station. The administrator of the temple, Om Prakash, said that police had been deployed at his house as well as at the temple for security.

Zaidi said, “There were some encroachments in front of the temple which we removed 4 days ago. However, no idol was kept in the temple and religious rites have not been started in the temple”.
