Hindus expect the central government makes such changes across the country, not just Bhopal !

Bhopal (MP) – BJP MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh said that ‘naming a place on some person automatically influences the place and people residing there. The queen’s children were killed at ‘Lal Ghati’ in Bhopal. The assassination had caused the ghat to turn red. Lal means red and ghat means riverbank. The place was renamed to signify a ‘riverbank drenched with blood’. Similarly Halali Dam was after the Hindu kings who were killed there by deceit. These names and their history are apavitra (impure). In a way, such names spread impurity and negativity. We will change the names of all the places which have a bloodstained history from the Islamic times’. She has also demanded that Halalpura Bus Stand and Islamnagar be renamed after freedom fighters. (Why is it that such demands have to be put forth ? Why doesn’t the Government itself change the names proactively ?- Editor)
Uma Bharti along with Pragya Thakur have demanded renaming of places around Bhopal as these names signify bloodshed of Muslim rulers.
